Dr. Nathalie Denain uses a technique called DNFT or Directional Non-Force Technique. This technique has been used by chiropractic practitioners since the 1930’s and is considered the original low force chiropractic technique. Dr. Denain will work directly with your nervous system to find any interference, then correct the interference with a gentle series of corrections. This technique boasts no turning or twisting of the spine and an audible, or “popping” of the spine is rarely heard. This gentle approach is perfect for the whole family, including infants and children.
Dr. Jacki Butterbrodt uses an all-encompassing technique commonly referred to as Palmer Package. This package includes a variety of techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Activator. These methods work to find a specific subluxation, fixation, or nerve irritation within the spinal column and provide the proper correction using a low amplitude, quick impulse to correct the fixation and restore proper nerve function to the body. Trigger point therapy is also used in conjunction with the spinal adjustment to ensure the musculoskeletal and nervous systems are working together properly. These techniques are great for people experiencing pain, increasing performance and energy, or those just looking to get through the workday.
Just like the spine, the arms and legs are made up of moveable joints that can be injured or create chronic pain over time. Both of our doctors have multiple years of experience treating joint pain.
